Assault On Bus Headed To Chukchansi Casino (CA – Tour Bus Attack)
ABC 30 Fresno (August 23, 2010) An arrest has been made in a bizarre attack on board a bus headed to a local casino. David Halla, 56, is charged with assault on an elderly person. Halla and the victim were among the passengers on board a tour bus traveling from Modesto to Chukchansi Casino in Madera County.

Fresno Bee (August 23, 2010) A 56-year-old man was arrested Monday after he repeatedly assaulted an elderly man while shouting racial slurs on a crowded charter bus headed for Chukchansi Gold Resort-Casino in Coarsegold, the California Highway Patrol said.

Indian Country Today (August 24, 2010) UC Davis School of Medicine  researchers will train Native American communities in Northern California to develop and implement culturally appropriate interventions to improve their health by decreasing obesity and Type 2 diabetes, through a $1 million research grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases of the National Institutes of Health.
